The Fine Print

Here are all our policies- designed to protect both our clientele and our team

Booking

There is a $20 booking fee per appointment, which is paid via invoice sent to your email. The booking fee is due within 24 hours; if it is not paid within 24 hours, we will unfortunately have to remove your sitter from the schedule so they are able to serve other families. There is a two hour minimum when booking a sitter. However, if the sitter is booked for 3 or more hours, the sitter must be paid for a minimum of 3 hours.

If you need to cancel for any reason at any time, the booking fee is nonrefundable but can be reused within 60 days for your next booking!

Payment

Hourly rates are as follows:

$18/hour for 1-2 children

$20/hour for 3-4 children

$22/hour for 5-6 children

The card used to pay the booking invoice will be the card saved on file with us- this is the card we will use when charging hourly rates. Hourly rates for the entire week (Sunday-Saturday) will be charged the following Monday or Tuesday AFTER care is provided. The ONLY items that will be charged directly are hourly rates, cancellation fees, and late fees.

If you would like to tip your sitter (NEVER ever expected!!) you can do so in cash or money transferring apps!

Cancellation

You can cancel up to 24 hours before the appointment free of any charge!

  • If you need to cancel within 24 hours of the appointment start time, a cancellation fee of $25 is due.

  • If you cancel within 12 hours of the appointment start time, a cancellation fee of $36 is due.

  • If you cancel within 3 hours of the appointment start time, a charge of $54 OR the scheduled hourly rate amount will be due, whichever amount is LOWER. 

If a member of our team shows up to provide services, we request you to please be there ready to let them into your home (unless previously given other instruction). If the sitter / we are unable to reach you, our sitters will wait for 30 minutes until they are able to leave, go home or pick up another job for the day. After 30 minutes of no word, we will consider it a cancellation & your card will be charged for the last minute cancellation fee. 

Late Policy

Our sitters will often have several different kiddos to care for a day, or other commitments such as school or family obligations. If you would like to extend the end time of your appointment, we request that you ask the sitter beforehand and get confirmation that they are able and willing to stay later than the originally agreed upon time. If the sitter is unable to stay late or is never asked to stay late, a late fee will be charged to the authorized card on file. For every 30 minutes you are late, an additional $15 will be due, in addition to the hourly rate. This ONLY applies if you are late without checking with or asking the sitter beforehand! *

Sick Child

We get it- sick babes are never a fun time. However, many of our sitters have children of their own, or provide childcare as a full time job. We request that you please disclose any sick symptoms your children are exhibiting as soon as possible (including but not limited to: lice, fever, vomiting, and cough). Depending on the symptoms, some sitters may feel comfortable still coming to your home, but we respectfully leave that decision up to the discretion of the sitter. If they are uncomfortable providing care for a sick child, we will do our best to find a replacement sitter that would be comfortable caring for a sick child! Please note: if the sitter shows up to your home to discover a sick child they were not told about beforehand, they can reserve the right to leave. Cancellation fees still apply for sick children if the sitter is given less than 24 hours notice.
