I was kept in contact throughout the process of finding a sitter for my needed times, and then the sitter kept me updated as well! "We were able to go on a long awaited date night because of TOTS!! We are a military family & with little family around; which makes it hard to get out on date nights. Catie came to our rescue & she was above & beyond an excellent childcare provider! She made sure to jump immediately in to interact with our son & she kept him busy the whole time we were gone! She did excellent! My son loved having her as a sitter too!! We would recommend her to anyone ! thank you for the help & making a date night for us. We loved being able to make date night a priority!"

"My wife and I have been going through Tidewater Tots for almost 3 years now and they have been amazing! Being Active Duty and her a night Nurse our schedules can be very unpredictable and inconsistent. Tidewater Tots has always pulled through for us everywhere from scheduling multiple early morning school drop offs to weekend overnights. Our son absolutely loves his sitters and even though he's quiet when they first get to the door, as soon as mom or dad leave he opens up and has the time of his life with them. Today was our first time with a sitter from Tidewater Tots, and it will certainly not be our last! Rebecca was so kind, energetic, and attentive with our kids, and our incredibly clingy and reserved 22mo opened up to her immediately! She sent photos and updates on how our kids were doing which really put us at ease. Communication was outstanding - they responded quickly to my request for a sitter, and we loved getting a bio and a photo of Rebecca at booking. She was incredibly respectful of our kiddos and our family's routines, and jumped right in like she's been with us forever. Rebecca was such a gift to us when we needed help, and can't wait to have her back again soon!

"Where do I begin? I've been using Tidewater Tots from the very beginning and I can't say enough good things about them!
Every sitter that we have ever had has been AMAZING with my kids. Even when my littlest might not have been warm to them right away when she was younger, they always took their time to let her get adjusted.
I have had wonderful communication while my kids are in their care, always getting a text throughout the evening on how they were doing and letting me know once everyone was asleep!

"Tidewater Tots has been a lifesaver for me. My husband is gone a lot for work and we had a baby over the summer. We're not from the area and don't have family nearby, so knowing their sitters are thoroughly vetted gives me a peace of mind when I need a sitter for our daughter. I appreciated their facilitation of the vetting, matching, and arranging the interview/"trial" process. Juanita is a rockstar caregiver who competently and compassionately cared for our newborn when I went back to work at 6 weeks postpartum. She was also wonderful at flexing to meet our last-minute needs (date night! traffic is terrible!) and taking care of our toddler and infant if our toddler's preschool was closed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Juanita or Tidewater Tots to anyone seeking trustworthy, reliable childcare!"

I came to utilize Tidewater Tots during a week where our daycare unexpectedly closed. This was the first time we had sitters for our daughter (6 months) who were not friends or family.
